I do this with a tear in my eye as i've owned Penelope for 10 years now from when she had just 60k on her 2 previous owner clocks. this is the 4th time i've tried to part ways but the furthest i got the last 3 was about half way to the MOT station (about 2.5 miles is normally enough to know it's going back in the garage) so i guess writing this advert means it could be yours next.

There is no doubt i absolutely love this vehicle every single time i drive it i fall in love with it but with so many toys and my familly expanded beyond a Mk1 Golfs capacity it is now up for sale.

i Purchased the car in 2003 and although its condition was great i decided to go the whole hog and replace the arch's, sills, wings and paint the full car. I then have clocked up a whopping 46k over 10 years in her, due to a period of college and university when i used the car the most and cramped backstreets and car parks alike she acquired a few battle scars but still looked damn presentable.

However 2 weeks ago the car came back out of MP Autorefinishing with another fantastic new coat of the original Regatta Blue, arrow straight and dent free. This car has no Rot, Dents or scrapes as never been welded (besides the replacement panels 10 years ago) nor will it need to be. car has lots of desirable chrome including original early metal handles (not plastic ebay chrome ones) and the billet oe fuel cap and side trims a set of refurbed badges chrome surround grill as well as the chrome surround spot light grill, all the plastics are also in excellent condition. loads of new parts while it was in paint. splitter, boot lock, clips, trims, headlight etc

Original 1300 engine and 4 speed box the car came with from new runs lovely (recently serviced) is great on fuel goes really well and has the adition of a full stainless exhaust which is exactly the same as a Schrick SR1 so mak
